Member Meetings

Purpose:
Member meetings serve as a platform for member voice and decision making and member learning. Members feel that meetings are a valuable way to facilitate connection among their peers

Frequency:
Member Meetings are currently being held quarterly in 2021: February, May, August, and November. 

Goals:
Decision making and general Thread business—Connection and networking. Highlighting and celebrating community achievements

Learning Cohorts

Purpose:

Learning; deepen peer connections; contribute to a growing body of peer-and practice-informed resources and tools

Frequency:
Monthly for 90 minutes, or TBD by group for 3 months

Goals:
Establish and contribute to a growing regional body of peer- and practice-informed tools and resources
Topics included Evaluation, Leadership, and Sustainability

Peer Coaching Circles

Purpose:
Combining the power of action learning and integral development in coaching to support leaders in creatively tackling the challenges they face while practicing the coaching skills they need

Frequency:
Case-by-case basis

Goals:
Coaching circles provide a unique opportunity for people to observe themselves and others in action. Each time the group connects, they engage in a dialogue and work together within defined times. The windows into each other’s world open up. The way people speak, ask questions, and offer feedback on the recurring obstacles they encounter within their respective coalition/ partnership, tell us a lot about their mission, and desire to be connected to the people they serve in the St. Louis area
